The Redfish Angler's Association Tour
New for the 2012 season is the RAA (Redfish Angler’s Association) tour. The RAA tour will consist of 50 teams who must pre-register for all five 2011 Redfish Series events and a new second day for each event. The teams will fish the Saturday Cabela’s Redfish Series events which will still allow 100 boats. The 50 teams will also fish the next day with their weights carrying over from Saturday. Only the 50 registered tour teams will fish on Sunday which will offer an additional payout to Saturday’s winnings.
This is how it works.
The 50 teams fishing the RAA Tour must pay 100% of the entry fee for the RAA tour (the second day’s entry fee) within 20 days of the first event. After that date no more teams may sign up for the tour. This way, the payout will be consistent for each event. The payments may be made in three installments with a $100.00 deposit paid to reserve the teams spot. Teams may pay their $100.00 deposit starting on September 15th. Once 50 teams have paid their deposit, a waiting list will start in the order a team asks for a spot.
Teams in the RAA tour will also sign-up for the Cabela’s Redfish Series tour rewards program. Teams in the RAA tour will fish the Saturday Cabela’s Redfish Series where they will compete for the same prizes and Team of the Year as the anglers who only fish the Redfish Series. Teams in the RAA Tour will then fish on Sunday with their weights from Saturday carrying over. The teams with the top five combined weights will be paid out on Sunday.
Teams in the RAA Tour will have a chance to compete and win prizes on Saturday and Sunday as well as compete for a separate Team of the Year in the RAA Tour which means that it is possible for one team to win both Team of the Year prizes from each event, the Redfish Series and the RAA tour. This also means that teams in the RAA tour, that did not receive a check on Saturday have a chance to get a check on Sunday.

Teams who called in or emailed in their intent to fish the tour will have first priority for the 50 spots.
Sign-Up with payment begins on February 25.
There will be an optional $100.00 deposit on the Paypal payment website to pay your deposit and reserve your teams spot. Teams may also pay be check.
Teams must also sign-up and pay the $750.00 deposit for Tour Rewards for the Redfish Series before March 20th or until we reach 50 teams..
